Lollipop Pop!

This was largely inspired by a lollipop render by DivineError

    Technical Details:
    More Mental Ray~

    Rather quick work in Maya:

    Lollipops are dielectric materials and the sticks and floor are the same Lambert.

    45 mins, from modeling the lollipop to animation

    Not sure how long this 24-frame render took but it shouldn't have taken very long - I wasn't home.

    I got back and popped the frames into flash to loop the animation.
    A little bit of actionscripting for the preloader and Pause/Play.
